EOEResponsibilities:CWI technician with AWS CWI and Level II MT/UT certifications needed for large Construction Materials Testing/Geotechnical firm in greater Baltimore/Washington DC area. Duties include inspection and testing of structural steel during erection on general building job sites throughout the region. Experience with general construction structural steel erection and knowledge of AWS and AISC specifications desired. Minimal travel outside regional area. This is a full-time position with benefits and no per diem will be paid. Salary range is $22-30/hour. Mileage reimbursed at $0.55/mile. Pre-employment drug screening and drivers license verification required.Qualifications:* Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent.* AWS CWI and Level II MT/UT certifications required.* PT, ICC High Strength Bolts and Welding experience a plus.* Solid communication skills (written and verbal).If hired for this position you will join an office with a fun, business-casual atmosphere.
