Business Service Center Coordinator Responsibilities:
This position is an inbound 800# Coordinator who receives and processes telephone calls and customer orders, which are both routine & non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, profiles, scripts and procedures.
-- Provides direct interface to customers of the National, Consolidated Major Accounts, and Small to Medium Business Program.
--Troubleshoots and resolves issues surrounding all facets of provisioning: billing, order status, pricing, delivery, activations setup, etc.
-- Explain features & benefits of Wireless products & service and make recommendations based on customer needs.
--Understand and communicate complex and technical information clearly and concisely, adjusting language and terminology to the needs of the customer (internal and external) in a professional manner.
--Support a growing number of wireless/data products, and continuously demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge and call handling skills.
--Handles situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research.
--Assesses needs and suggests/promotes alternative products and services.
--Uses computerized system for information gathering.
Qualifications:
1. Must be available to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
2. College degree is highly desired (or equivalent work experience) and relevant experience.
3. Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
Job Requirements:
--The ability to listen to internal and external customers and communicate complex and
technical answers clearly and concisely, adjusting language and terminology to the needs of the audience.
--The ability to clearly communicate product information and company policy and procedure to other employees and test for understanding.
--The ability to use the tact, common courtesy and discretion to achieve objectives.
--Thorough knowledge of desktop software packages designated as necessary to the job (Microsoft Word, Excel).
--Quality conscious.
--In depth knowledge of roaming, troubleshooting, cellular theory, enhanced services and equipment programming preferred.
--Knowledge of wireless cellular equipment, including all makes of cellular phones, data products/services and associated equipment preferred.
--Expert knowledge of company products and services preferred.
--Experience in multiple work types within a call center such as technical support and credit and activations preferred.
--Extensive experience in multiple company billing systems (Vision) preferred.
--Extensive knowledge of company billing, tracking, fulfillment and/or activation systems preferred.
--Be goal oriented and open to direction and feedback with a strong sense of doing quality work at each level of assigned duties.
--Possess a strong work ethic and able to work effectively in a team or individual.
