The Dining Facility Automation Management (DFAMS) System Analyst will assist the Functional Area Manager (FAM) on a daily basis with change request administration, procurements, downtime tracking, briefing preparation, report generation, application testing, and perform various duties as determined by the DFAM FAM. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Coordinate and consult with FAM and system personnel to identify and document system change requirements, infrastructure needs, program management objectives, current operational procedures, system problems, customer problems, change management standards, and monthly report and presentation standards.* Coordinate and consult with FAM and system personnel throughout the system?Ts lifecycle to track and document changes and modifications to initial specifications and adjust system processes to meet changing requirements.* Research, analyze, and categorize system technical requirements (non-functional requirements).* Analyze and document initial requirements for the Ship Board Units as they are submitted by the program office.* Develop test scripts, execute system and regression testing, and document test results in ClearCase.* Assist with the testing of enhancements and/or new reports developed by our COTS vendor.* Assist the FAM with workflow management, JAD preparation and execution, and downtime tracking.* Consult with FAM and system personnel to analyze business, application, and operating procedures in order to ensure the most efficient and effective methods of operation are in use.* Work with FAM and system personnel to acquire quotes and prepare procurement paperwork as needed in support of the DFAM system.* Record and publish meeting minutes, SDLC documentation, OSC documentation and other documentation as directed by FAM.* Support DFAM Application by assisting customers with trouble shooting problems, enter recipes, enter inventory items, enter suppliers, etc. * Must be able to travel approximately 20% throughout the year.* Excellent computer skills and the ability to create high-value deliverables. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. * Familiar with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, etc).* Familiar with the DFAM system. * Work closely with the FAM, technical staff and various user / stakeholder representatives. * Work hours are consistent but occasional ad hoc requirements necessitate flexible hours.* Personal initiative and be self-starter.* Effective communication skills (oral and written).* Strong customer service and consultation skills
