The Platform Integration Division provides innovative solutions for major structural modifications and systems integration to military and commercial aircraft. The division has operations in Waco, Texas; Crestview, Fla.; and Warner-Robins, Ga.Job Responsibilities: The position will report to the Systems Engineering organization as a member of a design/development team responsible for defining and integrating aircraft avionics systems on military and commercial aircraft. Tasking will include system definition, development, integration and test activities for the program(s). Responsibilities will include requirements definition and allocation, specification and statement of work development, system interface definition and control, support of hardware and software development, management of subcontractor activities (from a technical perspective), customer interface, and design review preparation and presentation. Technical leadership skills are necessary to coordinate design, development, and integration and test activities across multiple engineering disciplines and support organizations. Sets highest ethical standards for self and others. Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications: Engineering Bachelor degree and a minimum of 6 years systems engineering experience in Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Systems (CNS). Must have some experience with setup and/or modification of an Avionic Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL). Must have some experience with requirements derivation and avionics systems specification development. Must possess an active DoD security clearance at least at a Secret level. Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required.
