Assistant Store Manager/Shopkeeper - Buffalo MallTracking Code20090372Job DescriptionOur Assistant Store Managers are responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, as well as ensuring that our customers have an excellent experience while at our stores. They are involved in selling to and servicing of all customers. Assitant Store Managers perform all functions of management which include store operations, personnel, merchandising and visual, and also act as Manager in absence of the Store Manager.Required Skills* Regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled work hours.* Services customers, on sales floor and in fitting rooms, utilizing professional selling techniques.* Assists in the implementation of floor moves, sale setups, etc.* Operates POS register system with proficiency.* Ability to recruit, interview, and train personnel in selling techniques, register procedures, visual skills, sale setups, etc.* Makes management decisions and performs all management duties in absence of Store Manager.* Ability to supervise and carry out day-to-day operations of store including stock, sale set-up, straightening, visual presentation and cleaning.* Ability to supervise store personnel.* Knowledgeable in personal and store's statistics. Works toward achieving personal and store goals.* Assists Manager in recruitment, training and coaching of personnel* Ability to oversee a department, project or event and be held accountable for it.* Assists Manager in maintaining company visual presentation standards.Required Experience* Expertise in customer service and selling.* Prior assistant retail management experience preferably in the women's clothing industry.* Prior retail selling experience.* Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.* Time management skills.* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and use equipment such as hammers, ladders, merchandising hardware and two-wheelers, etc.* Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends, Sunday night floorsets, before/after store hour meetings.* Ability to make decisions in the best interest of business.* Ability to perform as a contributing member of the team.* Basic computer and e-mail skills.* Strong communication skills.Job LocationJamestown, ND, US.Position TypeFull-Time/Regular
