Title: Actuarial Consultant - InternationalLocation: IL-ChicagoAn international consultant provides advice to clients on a wide range of human resources issues, including the design of benefit and compensation programs around the world, financing of and accounting for the programs, investing retirement plan assets, conducting multi-country mergers and acquisitions, and developing remuneration policies for internationally mobile employees. To fulfill this role, the consultant will:* Help manage multi-country client relationships* Write technical multi-country reports on benefits and compensation* Manage client relationships on FAS 87 consolidation of reporting* Assist in accounting planning, reporting and disclosure requirements for non-U.S. retirement programs* Assist in acquisition and divestiture activity* Advise clients on employee transfers from one country to another* Design and administer international pension plans* Design and conduct analysis on multinational and foreign benefit practices and programs.* BA/BS degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, finance, or business* Actuarial exam progress (nearing completion) or recently completed actuarial qualification requirements* Excellent oral and written communications skills* Leadership skills, with the ability to be a team player and a strong self-starter* Excellent interpersonal skills* Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills; detail orientation* A client-focused attitude* Flexibility* Good facilitation skills* Intellectual curiosity* Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
