Execute tactical sales plans that achieve the desired result in quota attainment and customer satisfaction in Account Manager’s assigned sales market.3. Proactively manage CLEC accounts through careful management of customer expectations. Communicate the customer’s expectations and timelines to Provisioning Team to ensure each customer’s order is coordinated. Leverage Sales Engineers to ensure correct technical applications are being utilized.4. Analyze and evaluate customer’s existing service (voice, data, network, etc.) and equipment, determine the applicable changes or improvements, calculate pricing, and generate detailed, timely manager-approved proposals.5. Create and deliver formal presentations to customers, CenturyTel management and consultants using written, oral and computer-based tools and skills.6. Provide timely and accurate weekly sales reports.7. Provide timely, accurate, and complete order packages for each sale that adheres to CenturyTel’s established sales process flow.8. Adhere to CenturyTel guidelines regarding order process flow, pricing, rules set for specific products and services, and sales commissions.9. Actively participate in company sponsored training in order to achieve knowledge and expertise regarding products and services sold by the Account Manager CLEC.10. Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to the region sales team.11. Initiate contacts with potential and existing customers. Actively develop leads by participating in community and company-sponsored events, professional/civic organizations, and personal contacts.12. Research and recommend specialized applications and/or bundled product offerings for targeted customer segments (government, education, hospitality, transportation, etc.).13.
